"There is no flipside to Pascal's coin. If I'm wrong, nothing happens, I'm none the worse for it. If u're wrong, u barter away an eternity in the bliss & ecstasy of an unending Elysium 4 a brief, ephemeral world that includes hurt & anguish along with what you preceive to be a "better" & "unrestricted" life? in a world full of restrictions & pain" ?

A tour de force of reason, Mr Gnostic.
Nonsense like this flunks you out of philosophy 101.
I learned that the hard way in the early 70s

Atheism: The belief that water originates in the well.

A scientist who denies God is like a pilot who suffers from acrophobia!

According to atheists, nothing exists outside of the material, the empirical, the quantative and objectively verifiable, so there is art, but no creativity; there is chemistry, but no emotion, there is peace, but no love, there is philosophy, but no spirituality, there is action, but no imagination, there is scope, but no dreams, there is lack of culpability for some, but no ultimate accountability for all. I don't think atheists deny God so much as they deny being human!

& why does the scientific community constantly boast the latest find interpreted to be a transitional form to be the "Real Deal"? How can you take these jokers seriously? "No, This Time it Really Is a Transitional Form... For Real!" Lol! Look up the term Pseudo Science, which refers to any futile pursuit of an empty hypothesis by a scientist(s) for an exorbitant amount of time (decades or centuries) with no real indication of sound findings to conclude with. I.e a phantom hunt/Goose chase.

So where are these masses of evidence you speak of? Why doesn't the scientific community present them so the controversy can be settled? Why are there no confirmed and agreed upon transitional forms in the fossil record to the millions of fossil specimens therein? If what you assert is at all true, we would be up to are ears in fossilized transitional forms, and we'd probably see many of them living among us, but I've yet to hear of any fish walking around upright on land.

All evidence points to evolution? Funny how millions within the educated classes and even many within the scientific community would beg to differ, yet you speak as if this is a universally known & indisputed fact. Why, then, is there, almost annually now, a discovery of the 1st transitional form plastered across the internet & scientific periodicals with headlines like: "Evolutionists Finally Rejoice at the Discovery of the Missing Link!"? How many times can u finally find the 1st trans-form?

Actually no. Pascal's Wager is universally applicable since it wages the concept of divine castigation against any philosophy, faith or conviction that holds that there is no accountability in the hereafter for actions or deeds in this life. Deists may hold it to be invalid, but Christians, Muslims and the like would consider it applicable to them. They (the Deists) like you, are either going to die in the absolute sense posited by atheists, or they will be held to account. It's that simple.

Pascal's wager is only valid if you adopt the christian mindset, or any other religion that advocates punishment for non-belief. For example Pascal's wager would be invalid for Deists.
