u2 is a complcated sound. In their program for the Rosebowl show they write on how difficult it is to get a song from the studio to the Live performance. This particular song, City of Blinding Lights--is really even better live than on the album. And the album version is of course awesome. Conversely, I've never seen a live perfomance of With or Without you that really captures the Album track.

Ok first of all U2 is my favorite band. And there will never be a band like them again. There are so unique and perform great live. This song is s lifting when I saw this live, I got the greatest feeling of my life when the technolical light setting came on it was so colorful and magnificent. I will never forget U2 and the incredible performance by Bono on the vertigo tour and all their tours! U2 is truly unique and one of the best bands out there.
