I know exactly what you mean, but the reason that they all do it is because they themselves have never come to terms with their egos. When people are afraid that someone might think negatively about them they will you usually make someone else the target of ridicule, just so they can make it another day. The ones who do this over the internet, are even more far gone, because they have anonymity, which is usually the only way people are usually not afraid, because their ego won't be judge.

They probably do put it up for some self-sacrifing reason, but we can still pretend like it matters, because if we care so much to comment on it, it is of obvious importance... You know better than to enjoy it for reasons other than your own, TPS is like that; it's about what matters to us all and I guess for us all, for different reasons... Just love it for what it is and that's that it is great music...
