I'd say this commercial is effective, it's been, uh, how many years since this aired? and I still remember the duck and what it says. Good commercials stick in your head, make you talk about it, and that way make you think about the product. Sure what I thought about was "Sony is insane", but still.

And how do you get the "imagination" message out of this commercial? It's more like promoting Weed or LSD if anything...
I do own a Dreamcast, a PS2, and a Gamecube though. Xbox never really had any games I liked, or at least games that made me wish I had an Xbox.
