It all makes sense. If you sent a robot back to earth to autonomously clean up the world, the last thing you would want is for it to freeze up or get infected with spyware.

Speaking loosely here, Steve Jobs started Pixar and was largely responsible for many of the technology used at Pixar. He also directed the first 'Toy Story' film (watch the opening credits if you don't believe me). He later left Pixar and went back to Apple but there remains a friendship between the two companies.

Actually it's 3 times, the second is when he's charging while clinging to the ship taking EVE to the Axiom. the third is after EVE rebuilds him at the end.
