Unlike yourself or Mr. Supertramp, I am in my right mind. He knew there was a town because 30 miles away because that is where he came from. He knew exactly where he was and he could have saved himself. that is my point. People make it sound like he did some heroic thing, when in reality he did a very un-heroic thing. He is a guy who lost his mind and went into the woods to die.........that is what who he was, and that is how he died.
how does he know there is a town 30 miles away he had no compass no map hes in the wild. i seen lots of comments from you on this the same video why dont you get out of here if you dont have respect for this man people who do dont want to hear your shit so sit your bitch ass down you aint no scientist you cant prove shit...
It was not just "the wrong berry" it was mold that had grown on potato seeds that anyone would've deemed safe, they gave him swainsonine poisoning. And he was far from crazy, anyone he met on his journies would tell you that. Don't get into anything you don't know shit about, you prick.
He was only 28 miles from town and regardless of if the river was raised, that would not stop him from walking down that side of the river into town and then crossing the river there. That is the fact! He chose to stay and die in that bus....that means he was a fool
Are you serious? The river did not lead to town. And even if it had, McCandless would have jumped at the opportunity to leave. But crossing the river would've been a bad choice, he more than likely would've been swept away by the current. He also had a fear of water and swimming, so that contributed to his decision. And anyone that can make it in the Alaskan wildernesss for over 100 days is not a fool, he knew what the hell he was doing. The only fool here is you.
so your saying if some one dies in there room or cabin you should never go in there agian. That doesn't make sense. and its not his gravesite its where he died he's not buried there, his ashes are with his family
