The lame duck argument is an old argument that doesn't hold much water anymore. The other one I've heard from liberals is that people won't have enough time to get anything done. Pure BS and they know it!! If all Senator's and Congress knows their time is short, maybe things will get done a little bit faster.  Nobody truly knows because we've never had Term Limits on Senators and Congress. So bring on this CHANGE!

Conservative simple common sense would send us a lot quicker down the toilet. I am not to worried. If it all goes to shit I live by abundant sorces of food and water. The only thing I am scared to live without is AC.

Just imagine what you will get with lame duck politicians that no longer have to worry about getting your vote. I am not so sure Term Limits for Congress is the answer. Better educated voters would be the best answer.

Just absolutely infuriates me that these scumbags can get away with this and then point the finger at George Bush. We need to VOTE OUT OF OFFICE everyone of these dirtbags on both sides of the aisle and implement TERM LIMITS on both Senators and Congress. NO MORE CAREER POLITICIANS!!! THIS IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE HAVE CAREER POLITICIANS!!!

And remind us which party it was that created those big three social welfare programs that currently drain almost half of all government spending. The simple fact is that it's impossible to take away a benefit once the government creates it. The political will simply doesn't exist once people get it in their heads that they're entitled to something.
