I think it's time we saw a follow up to sky crawlers, aka ghost in the shell, he released a bluray of sky crawlers 2.0 with updated cg and the script was tightened up but i yearn for more thought provoking stuff from the man that is mr oshi san.

I don't believe it's a film. He's done some art-installation work, which is barely mentioned outside Japan, it seems. I haven't seen or heard of this, but I did manage to find a copy of the footage from one of his installations and it was quite similar to this. It may have even been a part of the same thing. I wish I knew more.

This is Mamoru Oshii's part of the NHK Ani-Kuri series of one minute shorts, each by a different director. It is/was for broadcast TV, AFAIK.
