This symbol is also used in Buddhism. I think Sri Aurobindo is beyond labels, and emphasise the underlying spirituality of all traditions. People give many names to the concept of spirituality, but in reality it is unowned phenomena. Spirituality should be the essence of all religions, and be the common denominator. Let's cross boundaries and focus on the unity.
I feel this symbol is one of those universal symbols of truth and Enlightnment.
