No, I spoke with him, he doesn't like Dessay, I don't know why...everyone has him oppinion...:)

There are some people who consider Dessay "plastic" singers, meaning no warmth in the voice, etc.

Personally I see that sometimes in her studio recordings, but I believe that is largely due to the nasality of her French technique,
but on stage, never, she is such a vibrant and lively actress, and she can curl up into a ball or jump up and down and still not miss or stutter any of the coloratura passages, she is just amazing!
