one more thing if an italian goes in vacation in the US without insurance he would get the worse medicine ever in case of emergency (like being assaulted and beaten up from robbers)and the hospital and doctors wouldn't give a shit if he was almost dead (that happened to my twin brother)also tons of bills up to $25,000 or more if an american goes in vacation in italy and the same happened to him, he would get the best medicine at cost 0 and would stay in the hospital till he's fully recovered.

Socialized medicine is great I grew up in Italy and I lived in the US for 4 years, I had medical insurance and still think that your medical system really really really sucks, I had to wait 1 week for the appointment with the doctor then after that 1 month for the surgery I had hernia, in Italy my twin brother visited the doctor the day he decided to go see him and got the surgery 2 days after.
