What a horrible way to go. Starvation alone in the wilderness with no help. Knowing you could die. ;( I feel sorry for him. At least he got to witness his dream.

christopher mccandles never said he was gunna survive..
he just wanted to experience it.

he lived by the moment, that's what makes him so special.
i don't think he even cared or thought about dying.
he just cared about what he did while he lived.
& to me, i believe he lead an amazing life. full of experiences.

Maybe Alex didn`t care but Chris cared very much. There was a note attached to the door of the bus that read" S.O.S. I need your help,i am injured , near death, and too weak to hike out of here. I am all alone,this is no joke. In the name of God, please remain to save me. I am out collecting berries close by and shall return this evening. Thank you, Chris McCandless. August?"
