Klaus Nomi Za Bakdaz- #1 The Unfinished Opera

How much is known about the story of this unfinished space opera and the fantasy world behind it? Did Nomi write down the plot?

Nomellotron samples are no solution. A psychic should channel Klaus to help his spirit to finish his work. I'd love to know what it was thought to be.

Regarding his ethereal mysteriousness, I imagine Za Bakdaz as a psychedelic musical SF anime movie in the style of 'Yellow Submarine', full of surreal creatures and strange incidents.

I think the video about this song that was taken out of YT would be a better way to make some publicity about zabakdaz because you are able to get a glimpse of the theatrics he used. Does anybody know what happened to that clip?

I thought that the opera was completed or at least worked on by Joey and others that worked with Klous.

A shame the album didn't include the single version of Za Bakdaz. That would have been great to have.
