... haha this aria reminds me stronly on Vivaldi's aria from Motezuma. Esp. these trio-exclamations e.g. in 0:40

Oh, just fell over this aria, it's beautiful!
I did NOT know this composer at all (what an education gap :-o)
have never seen his name on opera schedules the last couple of years ...

Ohhhhhhhhhhh! I would have liked to see how Robert Gambill looks like....He sings so well !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Especially the Stabat Mater "Cujus animam gementem" from Rossini!
