I'm a very long-time Kate fan (as might be inferred from my username).

I'm not a fan of this band, but I appreciate them covering it and making her songwriting available to a new generation. Perhaps it will lead Placebo's fans to get Kate's original song to hear the difference and see if they like it or not. At the very least, they might check Kate out to try to find out what the members of Placebo liked about the original song.

Dissing Placebo in the comments section of this video is dumb.
