Queen - somebody to love

Did see The Who, The Stones, Jeff Beck, Humble Pie, Kinks, John Cougar, Moody Blues, Santana, Iggy Pop, Ian Hunter, Peter Gabriel, U2, Eagles, Beach Boys, others who I can't remember right now and I had tickets for Zeppelin - but John Bonham died a month before the scheduled concert, so it was cancelled - now that really sucked - day I got the tickets, I went out and bought all their Albums.

Detroit was awesome in the 70's - everybody came here.

Would have been great to see Queen.

Ya - it sucks, but I was only about 15 at the time and didn't appreciate them at the time. More into The Who and the Stones at the time - same thing happened with Van Halen. Not the same seeing these bands when you are in your 40's as it would have been at 15 or 16.

Oh! What an opportunity you missed. You must feel sick about that. Still Brian May and Roger Taylor still perform as Queen.

What a great song and a great performance. I had chance to see these guys around 1979 at Cobo Hall in Detroit and turned it down - what a regrettable mistake.
