Nope, they're from the USA. I saw them in Seattle WA in 2008 when I learned that Jeff Kashiwa (sax) is actually from Seattle too.

Makes me want to play my Curves Ahead album real loud. Sad though, it seems this is all over. I doubt we'll see them in London again. And this will NEVER come out on DVD. I've been waiting 15 years.

Was saying on another vid how the American's don't know what I consider a great jazz group - Swing Out Sister, because they're British. Well, in the UK, people don't know The Ripperton's, and if I hadn't lived in the States and dated a Rippington's fan who dragged me to a concert in Houston.... Well.....

Saw them in Concert when I lived in Houston, TX on a balmy summer night with my Beautiful Texas lawyer girlfriend - what an experience for a working class kid from London!!!!
