Scary Climbing Fall

Lol there is big diffence between sport climbing in potrero and making first ascent on traditionnal route!

climbing a rock just to say u can get to the top and if u fall u risk dying. the table between reward and punishment is slightly tilted.

If you use proper equipment, wear a helmet and know what you are doing its safer than driving a car.

@719circusarts if your talking about the statistics of people dying then your right less people die a year obviously...

but out of the people that actually climb its way different. More drivers = more chances bad things happen.

Rock climbing isnt safe there are just less deaths a year than driving

Im just saying I feel much safer 100ft up on a rock with protection I placed and a belayer I trust than going 70mph down the highway trusting my life to morons not paying attention to the road. climbing definitely has it's risks but thats part of what makes it so fun
