Wonderful, just moves my very heart and soul. The only other two pieces of music that do this to me are Elgar's Chanson du Matin and Elgar's Nimrod.

Hearing is so precious. So many emotions and powerful responses from the first part of this 'rhapsody' piece. Stirs me in a way that words could never draw near

the orchetsra didn't make any substantial climax in this piece, and actually played this without understanding of any note of this piece the pianist is genius, each note was full of emotions, ideas and content !!!!!!!!!!! Great Pletnev!!!!!

This is music of an overwhelming, dizzying power. And Pletnev is just fine. Thanks!

Naw, it isn't SO Russian. It is prairie music: applying equally to the Great Plains of North America, the pampas of the South and the REAL steppes of Central Asia, not the paltry Russian variety....Katsap!
