speed is not the best friend its mobility mixed with speed mixed with stealth. some planes are designed to block the heat signature from the exhaust. watch a viedeo of the su 35 aerobatics and tell me is you think it could be shot down in a dog fight

Just the chances of it happening are slimmer if the plane is better...

havent u ever seen a dogfight. goin fast doesnt let u turn fast n the missiles breaks faster. juz think wen u r tryin 2 catch som1 goin really fast n suddenly dey stop ur juz goin 2 pass dem. right

They are going to have to slow down so you would have time to slow down so you dont over shoot them and you should not have to be that close to a fighter in a dogfight unless useing guns but that might not help you if you beat them with speed and out manouver them. Besides gunfights are very rare in a dogfight.

a missile fight is not a dogfight. dogfights are very rare. gunfighhts are dogfights. didnt you knew that???

F-22 thrust vectoring works only up and down

F-22 w/o missiles & stealth vs any fighter aircraft w/ 3d thrust vectoring is a loss

yea wit soviet missiles. n dats n old aicraft. it was shot down while it had its bomb bay open

almost every plane can take down the f-117.. since its a bomber and not a fighter..
