i saw the testing clips of the EX3 and i don't see no big problem there,i don't know where is that 'rolling shutter issue of CMOS' came from,so i think i can deal with these camcorder,can't wait to see them on December!

The HDRFX-1000 records only to tape, The HVR-C5 records to tape for storage and Compact Flash card for faster downloads

No, the transfer with the taped based HDRFX-1000 is just slower that the HVR-5C.
