I agree with you. Complexity and richness are their hallmark, as well as being supporters of the pastoral soul in us all. They really bring back the connection to the land and the bounty and our kinsmen. It's what's missing, really.

I think that the number of Tull fans seems to be growing.
I think it has a lot to do with the fact that bands these days are basically just garage bands with the bare minimum amount of talant to be called a band.
The complexity of Tull is not seen in newer bands.

Ian Anderson (Tull) is the most original, heartfelt, English, musical, band in the world. Ian is brilliant and completely and inexplicably underrated.

ian anderson and company were way way way ahead of there time and I know for a fact that when I was teenager in the seventys there was no better band to listen to....really dont mind if I sit this one out.....

you got that right...dude ian anderson an company were way way ahead of there time ...stand up ...aqualung...thick as a brick....really dont mind if I sit this one out....song for the critics...it really makes me think of the past...and its all good....god bless all of us///
