Caetano Veloso at Jazz Fest Wien 2008

"Voce e linda" is a beautiful song. The 1st. time I heard Caetano singing I was in Brazil 2008, and he was singing this song. I liked him right away, and I went to get his record. I even saw him live in Miami this year. He and his band are amazing. I have always listened to Brazilian music since I lived in Venezuela. By the way the last song he sings here was written by a famous Venezuelan singer.
I never knew Caetano could sing in Spanish until now! He's just amazing, and I love his music.

You can count in on one hand the number of artists worldwide who are able to go from one style to another, from bossa to rock, from jazz to something else, as easy and beautiful as he does.

Caetano is and continues to stretch his art being -- in a wide breadth, depth, scope and dimension -- the greatest artist in the world. The one artist who is capable of embracing "Earth", all its places, as once, long ago, long before environmentalism was fashionable, he did in a song.
