4. Will corruption & bad governance eventually be the undoing of India's democracy? For eg. 40-50% of India's MLA have criminal cases pending against them- 1/2 of Indian rulers are criminals.

5. Communal hamrony? Which way will India's rising Muslim population go? By 2050 Indian Muslims will be 25% of the population. Will they assimilate into modernity and mainstream or segregate themselves into ghettos? Will they radicalize and destroy India from within?

India brings 2% of its population out from extreme poverty every year, about the same percentage from lower into middle class.

At this rate India will eliminate its current poverty of 40% in 20 years (i.e. by 2032).

But the question to ask are:

1. Will India be able to sustain current growth rates of 7-8% for the next 20-30 years?

2. What abt infrastructure? For eg 50% of Indians defecate in the open and about 75% do not have access to running water.

3. Income inequality is rising?
