4 Month Air-Force UFO Investigation - Brazil 1977. Pt8 of 9

During the months of September through December 1977, the Brazillian Air-Force under the command of a Captain Uyrangê Hollanda, was sent to the island of Colares to investigate a series of incidents in which over 80 people reported being attacked by beams of light from UFO's, paralyzing 2, killing 1, and leaving all with puncture and burn marks on their skin. The investigation was codenamed "Operation Saucer". This operation collated over 15 hours of film, 500 photos, and hundreds of documents with detailed drawings and interviews with over 3000 witness'. The files were to remain classified by the Brazillian Government until 1997, when UFO investigator's A J Gevaerd and Marco Petite of UFO Magazine were allowed partial access. They were also contacted by the then retired Cpt Hollanda who gave them a vivid recollection of the whole series of events.

I think that people try to avoid linking UFOs to metaphysical phenomenons like aberrations, because they don't want to add even more things for critics to debunk with science. They probably don't want to try to explain the multidimensional aspects either since that still gets into even more stuff for critics to debunk, should they get one little part wrong.

@ImperatorDerGalaxis I say the real people in the know have long since concluded that: UFOS have always been here on Earth and are directly connected to apparitions/ entities of religious/occult lore and are not exactly physical nuts and bolts interplanetary ships -they left out Hollanda's report of several poltergeist phenomena he experienced in the following months - UFOs both physical and paraphysical entities that have been variously called angels, demons nature spirits, djinn, fairies...

And with all due respect to A. J. Gevaerd - I like his UFO website-he seems to be a proponent of the untenable 'pure' ET hypothesis (nuts n bolts interplanetary craft), and as such doesn't take the much need multidisciplinary approach - he fails to note that similar 'suicides' have happened before, and that we're not 'being visited','They' have always been here. With us. On Earth. ETH proponents, please open your minds and read Jacques Valleé, John Keel for starters.

Morris K Jessup found a similar fate. Problem is this program -like most - refuses to accept the parallels between UFOs and apparitions/entities of folklore, the occult and religious phenomena; fact: 'mysterious', seemingly intelligent lights' have interacted w/ humans in every culture since the dawn of mankind, and that UFOs behave both as physical 'objects' and also as paraphysical phenomena - ultrasonic speeds, w/o sonic booms, inertia defying moves, dematerializations and PSI phenomena.

There's much more than those pics, there are astounding footage of those 'ships', which was kept secret by the military. Furthermore, Varginha's Case is even bigger than Colares Incident (Saucer Operation). Altough BR's freedom act made this public, hidden forces are pushing our laws to turn back, allowing some documents to be kept secret for any time "needed".
