    Actually Pelon714, the Lakers were on KTLA Channel 5 for 10 years from 1967-77 before they moved to KCAL 9 in 1977, sad they're leaving after this year

    yep me too. this is a memory i will never forget! they used it on radio too. no matter where you were or what life had dealt you, there was the chick and the lakers.  provided me with memories that i will never forget. we lived and died with our world champion lakers. it will never ...ever..ever.. be the same

    They continued using this intro music on "LakersLine" with Stu Lantz on the radio following most games, well into the 90's.
