It is a right thing to do to get permission, if it is known who has written the song. Copyrighting should be let to the authors. And if anyone wants to sing it he/she should ask the author of the song. I am sure any author would gleefully agree to it. There are different types of copyrighting too (with and without conditions). got to respect that. Only when one can respect a person's right and sentiments - he / she can be a good Christian.

I Support you brother..There is no copyright for christian songs.. If thats case none of the singers should be singing on stage or for videos. We been singing this song on many stages. and I dont understand what it means theby the authors son claiming the melody has been changed. The time I started learning this song I been singin in this tune. As you have said COPYRIGHT BELONGS TO HOLY SPIRIT BECAUSE THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE ONE THAT LEAD BRO. it is sad to hear that the writer is not acknowledged or informed.. my dear brother/sister please refrain from declaring in public that there is no copyright required for publishing Christian songs. there is a basic decency which i think is to contact / intimate and acknowledge the song writer or composer. once you do this, i don't think anyone will stop you from creating your own work. please encourage people who write songs for the glory of God & for evangelism purposes.

It is gud that God is using you to sing my father's song. you can sing where ever you like it is not a problem. songs for that purpose but you can't change the melody and you can't record other's songs in your cd's or cassetts etc.. without permission. It is prohibited according to the copyright law. This is for your information - if u see in your bible the first few pages there are also mentioned abt the copyright. what do you think abt tat?

There is no copyright for any Christian Songs. All copy rights belongs to Holy Spirit who has inspired His servants to compose and sing.I don't think you should expect the singers and musicians of this song to take permission from your Dad. In fact he should be happy this song is being sung by so many people all around the world among the Tamil people and ministering to so many to commit their ways to the Lord.BTW thanks for letting us know that this song was composed by your Dad
