This is special! Paul Robeson sings 'King Joe', a tribute to 'King' Joe Louis, with Count Basie and his Orchestra, recorded in October, 1941. The song is in 2 parts, almost 6 1/2 minutes long, and is recorded on both sides of the record as Part 1 and Part 2. I have already listened to this half a dozen times and it still moves me. A great confluence of art, artists, and culture represented here.
