From Sifu Tom Chi Catskills Moy Yat Ving Tsun Kung Fu. Beginning Chi Gurk (Chi Sao for Legs). Teaches "sticking legs" skills useful for intercepting and directing the opponents legs. Catch kicks and use the unbroken contact to control the interaction. Soon learn running and catching and feeling as well as you do with the blindfolded chi sao. Same type of concept, but a bit different with the legs. Often the legs will intercept opponent kicks before the hands and the sticking is important otherwise you must continually restart the contact as with most martial arts, and that wastes strategic play. 25+ yrs MYVT Sifu. tom@thejong.com Bear with the lousy video handling, the content is there. thanks.
