On this version Philip Lippman plays 5 violin parts throughout this beautiful song called "Your Beautiful" by James Blunt. I made seven versions of the song, and I invite you to listen to them in order. This is version 5, and the only version with video so far. I would like to thank all the beautiful women who helped me make this video. Each part I add another violin, so part 1 has one violin, part 2 has 2 violins and so forth all the way to part seven which has 7 violins. Over the past month I experienced many challenges in life including an unexpected, and unjustified termination from my job, and the sudden death of my grandfather. Producing this video is part of how I delt with these losses. Although I find James Blunt's song truly inspiring and divine on its own I had to include some dark aspects of life in the video portion of the video, giving the whole work a contrast between a dark and light feeling. I included the fire in the video piece as a way of memorializing my grandfather because he chose cremation. My grandfather, Dr Edward Lippman was a distinguished professor of musicology at Columbia University, and the proud husband of Violet Lippman who lives in NJ at this time. I am especially grateful to Alex who is one of the many beautiful girls in this video. I always enjoy watching her reaction as she listens to the piece on the headset for the first time. I released the video on fathers day because in some ways my grandfather was my dad. My dad, still living happily with my mom got a brain aneurysm when I was six. I would like to thank all the beautiful women who appearred and helped make this video exciting and possible!
