Mark Nelson, Katie Zafft, Lynn Munter, Jamie Finn, Achilles Sangster (me), Justin Markus.
We were asked by director David Walsh to choreograph a fight for the famous opera Il Trovatore, replacing the Anvil Chorus scene (where gypsies bang on anvils) with stage combat. We were given eleven days to compose a 3 minute fight scene between 6 individuals, and this is the completed project.
This video was filmed by Samantha Rei of Blasphemina's Closet on our July 19, 2008 performance.
