Good idea guys, but lousy presentation. You can't get the point across by only showing close ups of the ends of wires. I spent ten years supervising and wiring shows for FBG. I know the challenge of it. and you didn't come close to giving a feel ofr the way it really is.
Next time give me a shout, as a former tech and film maker I can help.

Wow. You must have, like, five soldering irons!
What's the delay between the current reaching the fuse and the fuse igniting, then setting off the firework? How closely can that be estimated?

The fuse is almost instantaneous. Once the electronic match hits the fuse the firework fires in milliseconds.
