I used to attend the Dallas Irish Festival every year. The sole reason to go was to hear these four together. The percussionist is a Professor of Music from Houston (I think) and would travel to Dallas to jam with Seamus and Eileen. These performances were hands down the very best each year. Together they rocked the house. We told them many times they should be a permanent group. The four of them together were magic. How great it is to see an old performance again. Thanks for the upload!
The percussionist is Kimati Dinizulu. He is a genius and one of the premiere African percussionists in the world. He is all over Eileen's early albums.
This is the first time seeing Theona Ritchie after hearing Thistle and Shamrock over so many years and wondering what she looks like. Radio - theater of the mind. . first song is Julia Delaney. Sorry, can't identify the second one Seamus is playing.
