Even these after the fact exposes can be misleading. The levess breached the day after Katrina on a day when there was a clear blue sky. Out of nowhere the people heard a gigantic explosion and water rushed in and flooded that area of the city. Later, residents testified to that fact before congress yet it seems to be left out of all these documentaries.

I live in New York and this fucking infuriates me still; south or north, black or white, rich or poor: these people are americans, YOUR brothers, whether you like it or not.

America should be ashamed for what it is doing to its own people. Bush Jr. compounds his criminality. Why the Media and general public are not screaming injustice, I will never know. I agree. If you have money and power, "Freedom" is yours for the taking, including when you have committed a crime and sentenced to jail time.  But if you are poor, you are just a commodity to make money off of. It is not "democracy." It is an oligarchy. And what makes it saddest is that so many poor whites support the oppression without realizing it will turn on them too.
