Hmm. I wonder if the people who were "streaming in from all parts of the country, including Canada and Mexico" to celebrate Ronald Reagan's birthday in Simi Valley (2:45) included any Nicaraguans or Salvadorans, two countries where Ronald Reagan's paranoid anti-commie fantasies resulted in the deaths and outright murder of thousands?

Cons bleat about people trying to "hurt America" when their POV is contradicted. They see America as a weak nation that needs "protection" from anyone & everyone who disagrees with them and/or makes them feel inadequate, seeing disagreeing with them as robbing them of the acknowledgment, validation & exaltation they desire so desperately and intensifying their feelings of inadequacy. They, then, lash out at others to mitigate those feelings.

I thought O'Reilly was the most awful human being in the world... but it turns out he's just the tip of the metaphorical douchebag iceberg.

i also love how fox loves to talk about how many millions more people are watching their shows over msnbc's, neglecting to mention that fox news available in about 10 times as many homes.

True, but the problem is that there are no real ideas on the right wing. They don't want to talk, they want to shout down things they don't like. It doesn't matter if they don't get their ideas across, they just want to disagree and drown out any opposing views.
