This makes a tear come to my eye every time I see it. The glorious Long March will live long in the people's hearts as one of the greatest achievements of Chinese History. Long live and God bless the People's Republic of China!

Even before. Just to mention that the Kuomintang was officially Leninist democratic centralist party in times of Dr Sun Yat Sen, and his widow fled China after the Chang Kaishek crackdown against the left fraction of KMT and CCP, who held a legal government back then.
In fact, it was the first right-wing coup against the popular socialist government, just like in Spain or Chile later.
