MSNBC's Mika Brzezinski refuses to talk about Paris Hilton as a *Lead Story* on the Morning Joe show. Perhaps more people in the media & news outlets should TAKE her example and STOP propping up worthless news as LEAD stories. The public deserves a little more respect than to be fed gossip and 'filler' material disguised as NEWS. A bit more on this is said at

Comments have been closed as of March 4, 2008. With 6,400+ I think the opinions have run their course - the overwhelming majority in favor of the stance by Mika Brzezinski. Not staged, partially staged or all about staged... this brings forward a solid point: Gossip stories are not News, let alone Top Hour news on a major broadcasting outlet.
