Not really. Hong Kong films are on average better than Hollywood films, but they are very western, not the other way around. It used to be that they were all their own thing, and a Hong Kong film of the 70s doesn't have a shade of Hollywood in it. Now Hong Kong films like this are just the movies Hollywood would be making if they had more intelligence. For me, Japanese cinema is where it all is right now. They are so pure they give nothing for shallow Hollywood to work with.

first of all it's a matter of opinion and i said the way they proposes is stupid never said all the films i just meant it's always predictable there's always the exception of the rule and honestly i never watched all the gangster movies made in america. In my opinion i prefer asian films more and i agree you don't have to agree with me.

Yeah you're right sorry for overreacting. However The Godfather(have you seen it tell me) is still my all time favorite crime film followed by Infernal affairs

Oh you're talking about the godfather part II. But really the godfather 1 and godfather 2 are the greatest crime movies ever made(not just in america I mean anywhere asian or american people love this film)
