Kraftwerk originally used the Moog Synth, a really complicated analog device. Sometime check out the doc on Moog, it is pretty fascinating. I love kraftwerk and always have since I originally heard their musik in the 80s when it came out. Listen to M too, not pop musik, but Moonlight and Musik....

As I made it clear to Japan above, I know that this isn't Autone its a vocoder sometimes they even used computer-speech software. Which is where Autotune came from....
Some of the electronic vocals on Computer World were created using a Texas Instruments Language Translator.

Thank you, that would be called a vocoder. All I'm saying is that this is where Autotune comes from. Roger Troutman from Zapp was using it in his music in the 70's. This was my favorite song at 11 you know when vinyl was all we had...oh yeah and a few 8 tracks.
