I must say that was a very mature comment for an eleven year old. You obvisouly have been brought up well!
It's so sad when people have these images of themselves that aren't really what everyone else sees. She was a beautiful person with the most effortless singing voice.
Really, sorry to hear about your Dog. He would have probably love the harmonica, too.
I remember this Song in the 70'. I was only 3 year old when it was Release, But I remember it hearing it a lot when I was about 5 and 6 year old. My father had passed when I was 4. So,yes This Song had brought lot of sad memories, then. Not so Sad Now.
We had to put our Pug to sleep today, and hearing this song is just so right for us. yKaren was the Best. We will Always miss her! Along with our Favorite Pet!!! We Love them Both!
This is very classic...Yet, so beautiful. I remember listening to this when I was like seven years old. I'm eleven now. And my mother told me that Karen Carpenter (The woman singing this) died from thinking she was too overweight, so she starved herself to death.
She's NOT fat. She's a very beautiful woman, actually, along with her awesome voice. I think it's really mean of some people to say she's fat... I however, would've LOVED to have her as a friend, we'd be two girls singing together =D
