I am czech and she was really awesome and her czech too - it happens extremely rearly to hear american singing czech but in opera it a rule - it is a matter of being polite to sing in original language.

Heard this for the first time a few nights ago in the movie "Broken Sky" and have been entranced by it ever since. Exquisite.

The IPA is available in Timothy Cheek's "Singing in czech." There are some czech sounds which are not singable, but most are. A very singable language.

I have never cried from listening to a song before and this made me cry like a little girl. Glorious. Absolutely glorious.

Yes! I finally know what this song is! I heard it in Andre Rieu's Romantic Moments album, which I highly recommend for anyone in the mood for hearing a beautiful instrumental version of this song. It really sounds of Dvořák through and through.
