i'm a fan of Simple Plan's earlier stuff. i just find these new songs just a bit too mainstream for me. i don't find their music pop punk any more.

@Junkpunker21 yeah, i'm a green day fan too. and i totally agree with you. they totally brought the punk revival around with dookie and even american idiot. in my eyes, they're one of the only bands around who haven't turned into some band who plays mainstream crap. you can tell that green day's an amazing band cause they've stood the test of time. they've been around for more than 20 years and they're still going strong.

And I think Green Day should be left in it's proper category with Rancid and the Offspring. They're the originals of the whole punk revival.
