If the planet survives we will one day look back at this kind of GDP focused talk about the economy as an era of bigotry and ignorance imposed by those who make a profit off destruction. Talk about the GDP will seem as oppressive as the pre civil rights era does to us now.

I can see the feminism is troubling the commenter immediately beneath mine. Unfortunately he lets it get in the way & so misses the entire point. Maybe he's avoiding it, or even trying to dismiss it.
