I owned no. 000000186 built september 96. It was the carburettor model (42 mm semi flatslides). At the end of my life one of my great regrets would be selling that bike. God it was awesome
Yeah, that isn't an SR-71. Even if it was, the pilots wore space suits. The Blackbird is probably one of the greatest feats of two-wheeled engineering ever made. Amazingly fast and agile, but smooth as glass and stable handling too. And reliable! Mine's at 110,000 miles now:)
Yes great bike i got a 97 one with 9000 on clock.what you goto remember is it was the wolrds fastest prodution bike when released in 97.suzuki or whoever can make what they like after the event.but rememeber one thing..The Blackbird was the fastest production bike on the planet.the Busa and ZZr can never lay claim for FACT..
Fact is the ZZR11 was the fastest production bike for many many years before the Bird. And know what? The Bird only beat it by 1mph top speed. So shove that up your ass.
