It's seen combat in Kosovo and Afghanistan, but no tank on tank combat. Just a few small firefights

I saw a video of the Leo there recently of a Leo hitting a IED. It lifted the whole tank a good 5-6 feet of the ground, guess what happened then... It kept on rolling! What a beast of a machine!

Hmmm ... the Abrams shows in this "tests" that he can destroy old and unsuccessful tanks like T-54, T-55 and T-62. That he is a easy target for RPG's and other infantry-weapons ;-)

I'm sure that the Leo saw tank v tank combat in either Kosovo or the Leb. Can't remember which.

The true test is on the "real" battelfield, not on a "peacekeeping mission." Tanks against tanks, and tanks against artillery and infantry. Those are true tests. So, far, the Leopard II has not met this test.

Canada is Fielding Leopard 2A6 C MBT in Afghanistan and it has seen lots of combat there... Or does anybody want to say the Canadians are not fighting there?
