It really doesn't make you sound any smarter or cooler to name-call. It's kind of the only thing that made me loose any respect for you from the begining. Really, if veggies are going to say that killing an animal is the same as killing a person, giving them the same rights as people; than before I agree to that, I wan't animals to be considered the same as humans in other areas. We shouldn't separate ourselves in 1 way and not another.

it is ridiculous to suggest that we hold animals to the same standards that we hold humans. also, NO ONE is suggesting that we give animals the EXACT same rights as humans as there a lot of rights allotted to human beings that would be entirely inapplicable to animals. so you must be able to see how absurd it is to suggest that an animal killing another animal is the same as a human killing an animal.

Well, common sense tells me that the point I am trying to make is if we are all just "Earthlings" than I should not be condemned for doing something that any other predator on planet Earth does. Whether you like it or not, humans are predators.
