People compare the European Union to the United States of America..but this isn't accurate a true comparison would be with the former Soviet Union....and the USA also is heading in the same direction.
It would be great if Tony Benn joined UKIP!!!

Isn't it time that we the people start to take some responsibility. How many folk actually know the fundamentals of a democratic system? Not many, i bet - A cross on a ballot box once in a while & the majority think they've done their bit for democracy. We've got to educate ourselves. We the people hold true democratic power, but only if we're united & willing to act. Let's stop handing over our freedoms to the elitist power hungry men in suits & take back control.
