Neil's laugh didnt get edited out. He simply laughed so hard, the frequency of his voice went far beyond the frequency range of normal human hearing. Thumbs up if you agree!

The Earth's gravity is no sufficiently strong to keep hold of helium, so it gets stripped away by the solar wind. I think only Jupiter and Saturn amongst the planets have sufficient mass to keep hold of helium in significant quantity.
