If the dog was screaming for help as you say, the authorities would have helped. This woman is nothing but a thief and a criminal. She thinks that she has the right to steal. Its was her opinion the dog was screaming, that did not give her the right to steal. She is lucky she didn't get shot while trespassing.

So trespassing in order to save a life is wrong and should not be done. If you hear someone screaming for help and the only way to help them is too trespass..you just don't do it. This dog was crying for help.

Actually, I am in favor of chaining dogs. It keeps them from harassing wildlife and cats, biting children, biting mailmen, pizza delivery boys, chasing cars, fighting with other dogs and peeing on tires. It is found that alot of dogs wear the chain as a medallion and other dogs can develope "chain envy". So chain your dog up today!

While it is sad to see animals in a condition like this, we have to acknowledge that this woman trespassed on to and then stole someone's personal private property. This case was not about how the animal was cared for or the condition it was in, it was because this woman is a thief. This woman decided that she alone was the judge, jury and executioner and made the decision to confiscate someone's property with out due process. She decided that she was the law.

How cruel & blind can man be ?

How cold can a human heart be allowing such a disdainful & undignified behaviour like that of the former owners of Doogie ?

I felt so sad when I saw these terrible pictures of the poor dog.

Thank you, Tammy, for your courageous rescue of Doogie's life ! Now, he can smile again and there is a bright and happy light in his eyes.

If that can be told a crime, then there is something definitely very wrong on earth !

People who can be that cruel to animals DO NOT DESERVE jail time. What they deserve is to be chained up and neglected like this beautiful dog was. And a swift kick once in a while might not be a bad idea either.
