Bonobo vs. Pacman

Making the assumption that if cognition was to be found in non-human species, it would most likely be in the ones that were most similar to ourselves - bonobos. In this modern age experiment, a test is being conducted to exercise the hand-eye coordination of bonobos and whether they can understand an end goal.

On a side note: this ape seems right at home in the video game world. But I am still not seeing the importance of teaching him how to play Pacman. Now Donkey-Kong, that's a game I think he would like.

when will the pampered unemotional fucken scum of the earth realize,just look at this bonobo,have you ever seen the emotion proud and excited in anything?and if he wasnt locked ina cage he wouldnt be proud about playng a pacman game,it would be proud of actions hailed by the community of whoever raised him/her,just like whoever raised you to be ignorant and biased.

I'd love to hang out with this bonobo. We could be gaming buddies and be awesome at Centipede or Millipede. Maybe I could introduce him to Chime, which is a music based puzzle game.

We could also introduce him to Ladybug, KC Munckin, and whatever other Pac-Man clones exist. Or get the Bonobo into Berserk or Combat. Just because it is enjoying the peaceful games right now doesn't mean we may need to get our gamer ape some battle related games to enjoy.
